Wine always pairs well with a laugh

I work in a wine store in NYC that specializes in wine and food pairing.  This is one of many jobs that I work to support myself as an actress.  What is your favorite varietal and region?  I'm obsessed with a Negramaro from Puglia, Italy right now- yuuuummmmy.  If you have any food and wine questions comment below!
